Help Save Otago Lane!

We became aware of a piece of propaganda that had been distributed around Otago Street and the surrounding area.  The A4 page is entitled “Otago Street Development – the truth behind the lies!” and is produced by someone calling themselves ‘Otago Friends Unite’, although they have not provided any contact information and I cannot find any reference to them online.

Based on the content and the lack of transparency over who produced the document, OLCA believe that this has been produced with the sole intent to 'smear' the Save Otago Lane campaign.

However, if we are wrong, I would also like to make an open invitation to ‘Otago Friends Unite’:

If you are indeed friends of Otago Lane or Otago Street it is only right and proper that your opinion is heard along with those of us who object to this development.  I would like to invite you to our future OLCA meetings where you would be welcome to submit your opinions to the rest of the community. 

Should you not wish to do this, as Chair of the OLCA I would be delighted to meet with you to discuss your concerns and will pass these on in full and unedited to the rest of OLCA for consideration and debate.
